Photoshop is really cool

1. Find time. (This might take a while, time always hides somewhere. Try looking under your bed!)
2. Install Photoshop on your computer, and don’t forget to get the Nikkon Effex Pro Plugin, which is real cool.
3. Then, go take some pictures.
4. Upload them to your computer and open them in Photoshop.
5. Have fun!

My results, all edits from one picture, this one:

First, the basics. Nothing tops a good bunch of cross processing:

.. but then, the scary stuff came out. Watch me turn into a real cool, freckly, old women.

Much freckles, too much?

and I don’t like the colours either. Some colourbalance adjustments will do wonders!

Oke, so maybe a little less of the freckles..

And then, of course, there’s black and white!

And now, of course, I’d like to know what you think, hihi!

Last week I was the photographer at a musical created by my fellow students, Hanneke and Maureen. It was called Lost Souls and I really enjoyed it. Some photos:

The Kitteh

So, after I finished my Literature Oral Test (and French Oral Test, yesterday) I decided I was allowed to enjoy the perfect spring (and warm!) weather outside, and take some pictures. While I was lying on the ground to get some pretty flowers on picture, I felt something touching me. With a shock I turned round and I saw a cat hiding behind some flowers. So, armed with my 50mm (without autofocus!) I stalked the cutie around for a bit, and this is the result:

And the coolest one, which you should most definitely view bigger and on black :

Spring 2.0

Since I finished school really early today I had some spare time while the sun was still shining. The weather was absolutely great, spring, sunshine, warm – perfect. So I grabbed my camera and ventured outside for a bit. I again shot everything in the Aperture mode (no more automatic!), auto focused and picked my own ISO. I experimented with higher ISO’s too and this gave a real dreamy effect, you’ll see more of that soon.

This one’s SOOC, straight out of the camera:

The result of some Photoshop was this:

Happy Bokeh Wednesday!

In need of spring and sunshine

Yet my prayers do not seem to help, so I decided to do something about it myself. I got my supermarket-flowers and a desk light and created my own spring scene. Results:
