Feeling Slighty Artistic
‘t Was all snowy outside again this morning so I decided that, round noon, I could have a break from my continuous work on my final thesis. And since it was all snowy and my hair was all crappy I figured I’d be.. well sort of artistic. The result is really not-me, so tell me what you think!
I don’t know about this expression but I loved how it looks so rough. My hair is like the biggest mess everrr yet it looks cool here. I loved this one the best in black and white because it really gives it this.. harsh, almost violent feeling. I love how you can just see the strings of hair flowing, how it’s all not-styled and so on. Cross processed and original below.
And then there’s this. I don’t know what my mouth’s doing here, but I really love the light. I love how it’s extremely lit at the right side while the left side is just dark. But then there are these strings of hair again, where the light just.. flows through. I also think the bits of hair that are too long at the front of my face are good. If they wouldn’t have been there it would just have been another photo. Again, it’s the roughness that I love.
The snow was cold so I went inside, near the glorious window light. These are the result. I did quite a lot of them, with different colouring and such, but in the end I love the natural feeling-one the most. And the black and white.
So what do you think? Should I continue experimenting?
Another Christmas
I was the photographer at a gigantic Christmas event, last night. Another Christmas was organised by Praiseband All in One and the choir Sing For Joy sang along, which was really cool. It was absolutely amazing! A short impression by showing a few of the 1700 shots I made, with a borrowed Canon 450D and my own Nikon D60 with my dad’s zoom lens:
A Shoot
Well, since I’m a photographer too I figured it’d be fun if I’d post a shoot up here every now and then. I will first start of with a selfie-shoot. This one is the one that I talked about in my previous blog, the creativity one (: Soo, prepare for an overload of selfies, hihi. By the way: some of them are processed, some not.
